As a committed Christian, I have certainly encountered God's grace during my walk with Jesus and I would like to take a moment to share with you, a little more about me and my journey on the road to becoming a fully-fledged Nutritional Therapy Practitioner…
Well… believe it or not, it all started with a definitive breast cancer diagnosis, back in 2010!
It was truly a ‘wake-up’ call, that led me to take stock of my circumstances, including changing my entire approach to food… I therefore sought to find out as much as possible, including the impact that nutrients have at a cellular level; the effect that the environment has on our food (toxic soup/load etc. ); the best cooking methods to use when looking to retain nutritional content and so much more...
In 2011, approximately one year later, I came across an amazing opportunity to enhance my knowledge further, which resulted in engagement on a 3 year Level 5 Diploma course in Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), Birmingham. I signed-up immediately and commenced the course in 2012, having always had a keen interest in health & wellness, anyway. I successfully graduated in February 2015 and subsequently set-up practice in September of the same year.
From 2016 onward, I embarked on further study, which is ongoing:
*Now referred to as the Brain Health Programme (BHP)
As well as my personal experience, I have enhanced my level of expertise in the specialist areas of Cancer Support and Brain Health, by undertaking additional and continuous study, as highlighted above and I am therefore really keen to impart this knowledge whilst also supporting you, therapeutically.
I am so looking forward to working with you, therefore why not let us embark on your journey, together…
I thought I would share with you, a little about me and my journey on the road to becoming a fully-fledged Nutritional Therapy Practitioner…
